I am in my third year of studies at the University of Montevallo, currently interning through our Coordinated Program in Dietetics and finishing my Spanish minor. By May, I will have completed 1200 hours in foodservice management, community nutrition, and clinical nutrition. In summer of 2018, I had the opportunity to intern with Meals on Wheels of Tarrant County in my home state, Texas. Fall semester included many different clinical experiences all over Alabama, and my last semester will be spent at WIC, Children’s Rehab Services, and hospital foodservice.  

 

The University of Montevallo has provided me a unique liberal arts education. From our homecoming tradition, College Night, to Orr Park where dead trees are whittled into sculptures, Montevallo has been the most wonderful place to call home for the past three years.
