Part of being a college student is impromptu road trips, right? Two friends and I decided last minute to drive the 3 hours from Montevallo to Nashville, TN for a day of fun. We stayed in a hostel downtown that had an awesome vibe and met some really cool people from all over the world. The music scene was fantastic as well, though we didn’t stay out too late because it was snowing when we got there! The next day, we took a coffee shop tour of Nashville and got to explore Belmont’s campus a little before heading back to Montevallo. It was a nice hiatus from the weekly humdrum, and this trip is sure to be one I remember for a long time to come.
